The 23yo Milnes expertly maneuvered Silent Surrente from a challenging starting position to seize the lead and maintain control throughout the two-mile race. Silent Surrente is a 6yo mare by Fiorente out of the Face Value mare, Silent Surround and was bred by the late Don Moyle and is how owned by his daughter Libby Creek. Sir Sway further solidified his impressive record with a classy first up win in the Listed Manihi Classic 1100m. Benefiting from an ideal ride by fellow star apprentice Taylor Johnstone, Sir Sway unleashed a withering burst of speed storming home to victory. By former SA import Sir Prancealot, Sir Sway was bred by Bruce and Jason Jaensch from Narracoorte and is trained by Sue Jaensch. Sir Sway has amassed $366,000 in prize money to date.
